The Captain's Cut

Five perfectly rational pirates (strict seniority) split 100 gold coins. The most senior proposes a split; all five vote; a majority or tie keeps it, otherwise the proposer is thrown overboard and the next most senior proposes. Every pirate maximises coins, then prefers fewer deaths. How many coins does the most senior pirate secure?
