The four interactive modelling labs: three-statement modelling, DCF, comparable company analysis, and the equity pitch masterclass.

New research drops on a regular cadence and the full archive is included. Career resources cover interview prep, CV and cover letter writing, networking, case study simulations, and a curated financial firms directory.

Plus the Community: a members-only feed for posting questions, sharing wins and interview experiences, and learning from peers on the same path. Bi-weekly one-hour support calls hosted by founder Burak M. Gunduz are included, with live questions, CV reviews, interview prep, networking, and whatever else comes with working to break into the industry.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on any paid purchase, no questions asked. If you are not happy with Deltashark within 14 days of your initial purchase, email us at contact@deltashark.io and include:

  • A brief explanation of why you would like a refund
  • The email address you used at checkout

We will refund your original payment method within a few business days. No back-and-forth, no conditions.

How do I cancel my membership?

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal on your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and your access continues until then. If you are within 14 days of your initial purchase and would like a refund instead, email contact@deltashark.io.

Can I switch between billing cadences?

Yes. You can switch between 4-weekly, quarterly, and annual from the billing portal on your account page, and billing prorates automatically. If you run into any issues, email contact@deltashark.io and we will sort it out.

Education

How does the Modelling Lab work?

The Modelling Lab takes you through four core hedge fund models step by step inside the browser, on real company data. The three-statement model covers forecasting, linking, and circular references. The DCF lab walks through forecast period, terminal value, WACC build, and sensitivity tables. The comps lab covers peer selection, multiples, and clean-up adjustments. The equity pitch masterclass covers the hook, three thesis pillars, bear/base/bull valuation, and risks.

Can I download the finished Excel models?

Yes. Every lab ships with a finished Excel file you can download and keep, so you have a working reference model alongside everything you build inside the browser.

Who writes the education content?

The curriculum is written by professionals with direct hedge fund experience. It covers accounting fundamentals, valuation, modelling strategies, portfolio construction, risk management, sector deep-dives, and interview preparation. Every module is grounded in what is actually used on a buy-side desk, not in textbook abstractions.

Research

What kind of research do you publish?

We publish three categories of research. Equity reports cover single-name companies in depth, with thesis, supporting data, risk factors, and a clear conclusion. Macro reports cover rates, inflation, growth, and policy across the major economies. Sector reports cover competitive dynamics and unit economics across the industries that matter.

Do your research reports include buy or sell recommendations?

No. Reports are written by former hedge fund analysts and represent the views of their authors at the time of publication. They are intended for educational and informational purposes and should not be interpreted as personalised investment recommendations.

Who writes the reports?

Every report is signed by a real author. Each author has a public Deltashark ID showing their bio, education, work history, and the rest of their published research. You can click through from any report to see the author profile.

Is Deltashark a broker or investment adviser?

No. Deltashark is an educational platform. We are not a broker, investment adviser, or financial institution, and we are not regulated by the FCA, the SEC, or any other financial regulatory body. We do not execute trades, manage client assets, or provide personalised investment advice.

Deltashark ID

What is a Deltashark ID?

Your Deltashark ID is a public profile at deltashark.io/p/yourname. It shows your bio, schools, target firms, work history, and every piece of equity research and financial model you have published. Add the link to your CV when applying to hedge funds, equity research, investment banking, or asset management roles. Hiring managers see exactly what you can do, not just what you studied.

Who can see my profile?

Your Deltashark ID is private by default. You decide whether it is public, and you control what appears on it. You can switch visibility on or off at any time from your account settings.

Community

What is the Deltashark Community?

A members-only feed for the people working to break into the buy-side. Post questions, share wins and interview experiences, talk through internships and career paths, and learn from peers on the same route. Threaded replies, likes, and subtopics for Career, Wins, Networking, Academics, Markets & News, and the major industries (Hedge Funds, Quantitative Finance, Private Equity).

What are the support calls?

Bi-weekly one-hour video calls hosted by founder Burak M. Gunduz, included with every Deltashark Membership. Bring questions or just listen in. Cover applications, interview prep, CV reviews, networking, and everything else that comes with working to break into the industry. Submit questions ahead of time so they get answered live, or ask during open Q&A at the end of each call.

About Deltashark

What is Deltashark?

Deltashark is a financial education and research platform. We pair a structured curriculum with original research written by former hedge fund analysts. The platform is built for people who want to think and operate the way professional investors do, whether they are trying to break into the industry or simply manage their own capital with the same information professionals use.

Who is Deltashark for?

Two groups. First, anyone trying to break into the buy-side: students, career changers, and early-career analysts who want the skills, models, and credibility hiring managers actually look for. Second, individual investors who want hedge-fund-quality research and structured learning without the institutional price tag.

Where is Deltashark based?

Deltashark is based in London, United Kingdom. The platform is available globally.
